This Sunday, July 26 on The Mulberry Tree, it's my final encore show, paving the way for new editions of the tree to begin airing on Sunday, August 2. I will temporarily produce new shows from the safety of my home on the Ozark Plateau until it feels like the right time to go back to the KSMU studio in person to resume production there. For my show this Sunday, we can sit back and enjoy an hour of songs about rivers. I thought it would be real fine to embark on a virtual float trip with all of you, taking twists and turns around river bends, exciting rapids and through slow pools. I produced this river song show waaaay back on June 2, 2013, a little over seven years ago. Here's who we'll enjoy listening to, which includes the subject of this week's sneak peek playlist video, the late and forever awesome Jimmy LaFave with "River Road." Meet you around the tree, and meanwhile, my heartfelt wishes for health, safety and happiness.
