I look forward to our time around the tree this Sunday, September 20. I always imagine us with our chairs (properly distanced, of course) in the grass, sitting in a circle around the perimeter of the tree, watching the musical notes rise from the top of the tree and drift off into the beyond and into ears...not just human ears, either. My cat use to love music. I have many home recordings that include Spot where I was laying down a new song, a practice track so to speak, and he would wait until the very last note, then announce his approval...the perfect caveat I'm grateful to have memorialized and can enjoy when I'm missing him. Below is my playlist for this Sunday. I'll start with a song to get us thinking, then take you on a musical journey for the remainder of the hour. Included in the playlist is Tim Grimm and the Family Band, who are performing this week's sneak peek playlist video with their song "Finding Home."
