On the Square

"On the Square," Emily's third all-original CD released September, 2008. This collection of 10 songs was produced and recorded in the studio of Larry Lee, founding member of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Tracks on this collection feature guest musicians Larry Lee, John Higgins, Tim Burrows, Randle Chowning, Kelly Brown, Tom Murphy, Holly Heinzmann, and John Lowell. The House at the End of the Road

Emily’s second CD “The House at the End of the Road”, also an all-original collection, was released in the fall of 2004, and contains 11 new tracks featuring Emily’s smooth vocals and guitar work. Special touches were added by carefully chosen and multi-talented musicians including brother John Higgins sitting in on dobro, guitar, pedal steel, mandocello and bass. Magical touches by musicians Jim Lansford, Rick Davidson and others weave the sounds of mandolin, viola, banjo, upright bass, piano, djembe, washboard and harmonies throughout the collection. Singing River

Emily released her first solo all-original CD “Singing River” in late 2001. Her brother John Higgins of St. Louis‘ premier bluegrass band The Flying Mules was at the wheel both as backup musician and recording/mixing technician. Singing River features guest appearances by phenomenally talented musicians, including John Higgins, Marc Rennard, Charlie Pfeffer and Michael Prokopf, acoustic/electric harpist Terri Langerak, Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk winner Jan Marra on harmony vocals, and others.
