Hi everyone! This coming Sunday, October 28th will include songs that highlight both the season of Autumn and Halloween. The show will start out with two sets of songs with lyrics that fit the crazy tradition of Halloween and the feelings you may have about it. Then in my second half of the show I will switch over to songs about Autumn. What a great time of year! I've been traveling the backroads snapping photographs of the beautiful leaves. Most trees are past their peak colors right now, but there is a beauty in the Ozarks this time of year that is unique. The color cycle of the leaves this year was extraordinary, especially with the oak trees which usually turn brown pretty quickly. This year they put on a real show with various shades of yellow, orange and red. The maple trees lit up light neon lights. After a hot, dry summer, it was a real treat to get out and experience it all. Here are the musicians to be featured on this Sunday's show: HALLOWEEN: Wailin’ Jennys Bob Dylan Trout Fishing in America Buddy Mondlock Bruce Springsteen with Pete Seeger Alison Krauss Indigo Girls AUTUMN: James Taylor Bill & Bonnie Hearne Dan Fogelberg Neil Young Eva Cassidy (2 tracks) Les & Gary Gallier FCC regulations prohibit the posting of full playlists prior to airtime, so that is why I am only able to let you know the names of featured musicians in advance. I will try to do that for you every week.
