February 19th Mulberry Tree artists

Hi, They are predicting snow tomorrow in Springfield, the first snowfall of the winter, believe it or not! Hope all of you are staying warm and enjoying music in your daily life. This Sunday on the February 19th Mulberry Tree I will feature a wide variety of music, new and "seasoned" tracks...solo artists and bands. In one set I will include two versions of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", the first being the best vocal arrangement in my opinion, that of Jeff Buckley. An acoustic trio called "Time for Three" who performed in Springfield last night will follow Jeff Buckley with their instrumental version of the same song. It's so very powerful...wow! I had the pleasure of hearing "Time for Three" who had the Springfield Symphony backing them, and I'll never forget what a heard and saw. It was quite remarkable. If you get a chance, check out "Time for Three" at www.tf3.com Here are the artists scheduled for this Sunday's show: Court Yard Hounds Karla Bonoff Show of Hands Emmylou Harris and Mark Knopfler Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler Traffic Steve Winwood and Eric Clapton Jeff Buckley Time for Three The Mulberry Tree airs at 10 p.m. CST on KSMU, Springfield Missouri's NPR affiliate station, at the following locations: Springfield - 91.1, Branson - 90.5, West Plains - 90.3, Mountain Grove - 88.7, Joplin - 98.9 and Neosho - 103.7.
