Hi everyone! SW Missouri looking forward to another 100 degree temperature week. I have a hanging bird bath on my catalpa tree on my patio. I just watched a squirrel hang upside down from the branch using just two legs to get a drink. If you live in a drought stricken area please consider putting out a little water for the creatures. When I fill my two bird baths it's truly like watching a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"....they all line up on the fence waiting for me to finish! IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember, The Mulberry Tree will air at 8 p.m. CST instead of 10 p.m. on its regular day (Sunday) as NPR makes a temporary scheduling change. The Mulberry Tree returns to it's regular 10 p.m. time slot on Sunday, August 12, 2012. This Sunday's Mulberry Tree will feature the following artists: The Wailin’ Jenny’s Red Molly with Fred Gillen, Jr. Linda Ronstadt, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris Neil Young Neil Getz Lyle Lovett with Rickie Lee Jones Willis Alan Ramsey Finbar Furey and Mark Black Beyond Reach Michael Veitch with Shawn Colvin Shawn Colvin (solo) Dorian Michael FCC regulations prohibit the posting of full playlists prior to airtime, so that is why I am only able to let you know the names of featured musicians in advance. I will try to do for you every week.
