Hi everyone, This coming Sunday's Mulberry Tree will showcase some pretty incredible songwriting. I'll have tracks from Craig Bickhardt, a Nashville-based singer-songwriter who has been writing and recording songs and having his songs sung by other well-known musicians since 1984. Also, you'll hear music from The Accidentals, who are Katie Larson and Savannah Buist, who met just a couple of years ago in high school while working on a class assignment. The Accidentals will blow your mind and illustrate that the upcoming generation of folk and new folk songwriters and performers will be something really special. There's a whole hour of songwriters and bands lined up for the show. Please join me around "the tree!" The Mulberry Tree airs on Sunday evenings at 10 p.m. CST on KSMU 91.1 FM, Springfield Missouri's NPR affiliate station, and also at the following locations: Branson - 90.5, West Plains - 90.3, Mountain Grove - 88.7, Joplin - 98.9 and Neosho - 103.7. AND we also stream live at www.ksmu.org.
